My Girl

I had a long drawn out post about our bond as of the last 6 months but wordpress is not cooperating tonight and I don’t have the energy to retype everything.  Ugh!

No news on the adoption front.  It’s been almost 2 months since referral and still no DIA approval.  I have an email into our agency for an update………..

Love that first pic especially! The flower is a perfect hint of the beautiful face behind it. Angelica is, well, angelic.

I hope you’ll have some good news soon. Waiting is the pits.

We heard from my daughter’s agency today that the submission of her I600 is being held up because Dr. Long is refusing to comply with a new rule by USCIS. The rule concerns the letter proving there is a formal referral (blessed by DIA and provincial authorities) in writing, accompany the submission of the I600 to the USCIS.
It sounds like another roadblock…what does you agency say?

    Hi Michelle!

Two things - I have not been able to see the first 2 pictures in the post for some reason…am I the only one?

And secondly, Don’t hate me, but I tagged you!! See my blog - it’s a quick, easy one.

Like Lina, I also can’t see the first 2 pics from this post. Michelle, I just caught up on your Guat trip - the pictures are AWESOME! We went to Antigua and Lake Atitlan while I was in med school a few years ago for Semana Santa. It was AMAZING. That is SO incredible that you and Lanny have made exposing Angelica to her birth culture such a priority…and actually took her on this trip at such a young, but very impressionable age. What a gift. Glad you guys are back safely, and I’m hoping you get an update on your little guy soon.
